I have never written reviews but this device is 100% scrap. The description clearly says structured like the original dashboard. IS NOT IT! This is a smooth finish. Yes, it is painted black. Not colored. The problem is that the color doesn't last. It'll fry, so if you try to clean it or cook it, all you do is mess like hell. I've never seen a piece of plastic that I can't paint until I bought it, so not only do I have a piece of plastic that only fits file 13, I wasted a lot of money because there's no way right now that I can return it due to the condition. I finally got the original dashboard trimmed to fit and it looks great so save your money. Take your time and cut out your original stroke. Also, the clips suck. They do not remain in place even after further expansion
