Review on 3M CF12 BLACK CARBON FIBER Exterior Accessories by Charles Barlow

I used it on the interior of my 2011 BMW and it worked great. I have no experience with other vinyl products so can't really compare but I can say it was pretty easy to install even for a newbie like me. This material becomes very stretchy and flexible when exposed to heat, so I recommend using a heat gun (or possibly a hair dryer) when applying to curved surfaces or corners. Overall I'm very happy with the 1080 vinyl, it even looks a little shinier than the Di-Noc which is perfect for what I wanted it for. If you are looking for a matte carbon look look no further than Di Noc. But if you like a shinier look (without applying your own clear coat), you can't go wrong!
