Four stars because it's expensive but it should be 5 for the quality. My husband and cheap, okay? We bought some really cool large picture frames from Goodwill Sales and The Garage for our wedding signs. We painted the frames white and then put in an inexpensive base that we painted with burgundy chalk paint. Then we had a frilly friend who chalked important messages like "Gifts -> Here” on signs. After sitting around for a few months we decided to reuse a few signs. Suffice it to say that nothing we said or did could make the shadow of the chalk ink take off. Enter this product. I sniffed it at first because that's what I do and it smells interesting but defies chemistry. Turns out because it's quite a lot of water. It must be holy water because I applied it and let it sit for a few minutes and every drop of chalk ink came off like a sin forgiven. As you can see in the picture the shadow is gone. Nicely made chalk ink cleaner. Really well done.
