I use it on my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. I bought it with the full understanding that it may not work. I couldn't find any consistent results in reviews claiming it works. Therefore, when purchasing, I recommend that you also understand that it may not work for you. As for me and my 2018 Grand Cherokee, it actually worked right away. However, here are some of the things that bothered me. - The image quality has deteriorated somewhat. It's not bad, but there is an obvious shift in clarity and brightness when you plug in a phone and use this wireless device. That's not bad either, but you notice a small change. - When reading text messages, sometimes it won't read, it seems to work 90% of the time, but sometimes Siri will start reading and then stop abruptly as if disconnected. - Same as above when replying to test messages. Works in most cases, but there have been times when I've had to resubmit. - There have been instances where I got stuck and couldn't press "Carplay" on my car's screen. But in the end, on the car's screen, he switched to him. - When changing songs, there is a 2-3 second delay before it actually changes. Unlike when it's online, this happens instantly. - Sometimes I got in the car and went through the whole connection process. It shows the whole "connection". screen on your car screen and it took a few seconds. In other cases (mostly) it was connected without problems. Sometimes when the card is leading and you're listening to the radio, it sends the next direction as a ring instead of a word. For example if you have a normal Bluetooth connection. Otherwise, the map will continue to function as usual on your car screen. The good thing is that you can do a clean install. You can plug this wireless device and leave it where there is a USB connection. For the most part, it works as if it were connected. To me, these little issues with the device aren't a big deal as I've had cable connection issues most of the time anyway. The cable can also fail due to a short in the sheath, especially in the connection to the phone (Apple), and keep disconnecting.
