Review on KYB 344308 Excel-G Gas Shock Absorber, Black/Silver - Enhancing SEO by Mark Howard

Easy to fit, a huge improvement over OEM shock absorbers

It's hard to tell when shock absorbers are worn these days. The old bumper test doesn't really work. I put them on a 2004 Toyota Sienna with about 100,000 miles and noticed an immediate improvement. The van got to the point where the suspension was very soft and springy over bumps. These dampers have streamlined the rear end to make movements more controlled. We used the van to go to Florida with a few boxes and it felt much more manageable on the freeway. It was a simple setup. There was no room for a torque wrench on the body shock absorber. The mother must be dressed by feel.

Pros
  • Triple chrome plated piston rod and wear reducing multi-lip seals
Cons
  • Replacement available
