Review on 🔧 LOCTITE 243 Threadlocker for Automotive: Medium-Strength, Oil Tolerant, High-Temperature, Anaerobic, Blue, 6mL Tube (Part Number: 1330799 - 1330799) by Justin Miller

I tried several threadlockers before using this one and there is a big difference. It is not necessary to perfectly clean the screws before applying the screw lock 243, the thickness of the liquid is just right. It's thin enough to be easily applied to screws, but not too thin to run off. The locking force is sufficient to prevent the bolts from falling out due to vibration, but not too strong to interfere with removing the bolts with a screwdriver. This has never happened since I switched to Loctite 243. We recommend. The only possible "complaint" is that the container is red even though the formula is blue (medium strength). I have blue (243), red (271), and green (290) Loctites in my tool box and have to read the label to choose one. It would be much easier to match the strength to the color of the container.
