I like the light so far but there are a few issues with it. These are: 1. There are no instructions for physical installation in the ceiling. I own 5 of these so yes I am sure.2. Comes with 2 M4-70 screws to mount the lamp to a metal bracket only 1/16" long. This seems to suggest flush between the lamp and the ceiling. I have this ceiling with creases in it. Instead it is recommended that you buy a quarter" version for installation at a hardware store.3. Without ceiling mount instructions, it took me a second, but it seems that the flat part of the mount is resting on a light-colored surface. There's even a screw tip, which goes through one of the holes when aligning.The V-shaped part is attached to the ceiling canister.4.When I ask the app to turn off the light, it doesn't go out completely.It has a faint night light effect,very faint but visible.5 This unit appears to be capable of dimming down to extremely low levels (Reference #4) but I can't get that level of dimming going down to 1 percent.Wish they would fix this and one give a more varied dimming range. Additional installation notes: * I've installed 3 so far * I made three 8" long pigtails to extend the wiring to the canister, good luck! * Marking the screw holes on the flat bracket with a black marker helped me locate them , as I peered through the holes in the lantern.*Also during installation, the LED spotlight helped a lot to locate the screw holes.
