My original remote was so buggy! The buttons were randomly turned on and off. delay alarm. Etc. Needless to say I was hesitant to buy another one but my wife and I were moving house and didn't have internet or cable to entertain ourselves for a week. All we had was our old Blu-Ray player. So I decided to order a replacement remote and just send it back if it fails after my week is up. Luckily this remote worked great! Maybe I romanticize the remote because I was desperate and it was there for me in my need. In short, this is a solid remote control. If you're looking for a replacement, this is it.
