I'm glad I bought them early as it can get expensive after a while and you never know when you'll have to install them. I don't want to get my hands dirty. We drove from Placerville to Los Angeles. I can imagine how difficult the drive would have been if we hadn't fitted snow chains. The quality of the chains was very good and there was no loosening at all over such a long distance. I am very grateful that it allowed me to return home safely and enjoy the snow scenery.
