works as I wanted

Update: Still using them. A teacher's assistant dropped the timer when trying to set it and it won't turn on again. They're not super expensive, so don't expect them to last long. The rest are still working. I still think they're easy to use, but just a little messy. I mean we all drop things from time to time and I can't keep buying timers if my students or their skydivers accidentally drop them. I just add it to the update. Original post: I use them for 2 reasons: 1. I use them for down time for my 2yo. I keep it on the fridge (with the magnetic lid) and when it needs a time out I put it in, turn it on, press the minute button once and hit start (for a one minute time out). I tell him that when he hears the beeps, he can get up. It works REALLY well.2. I teach physical education to students who have just graduated from high school and need extra help to familiarize themselves with real life situations. We set goals and need a timer for certain workouts. Since there is Covid they all need their own gear. They work well, are easy to use, and don't break my budget. They have a small rear kickstand that falls off pretty easily if you move it for example. So unless you remember that you must have very thin hands when moving the stand part, it will likely fall off. but there's a rope that can be attached, as well as a magnet on the back that sticks to things like fridges. or magnetic whiteboards. If you are at the front door and need a timer, this is a good option.
