Review on 🧲 FloTool 10106B/6 Spill Saver Transmission Fluid and Gear Oil On-Off Filler Refill by Carlos Alston

I bought this item to fill the gearbox, differential and transfer case under the car. There are a number of issues: 1. It is not suitable for gallon containers which are most commonly used for oil based liquids. I had to find a narrow-necked liter container and pour oil into this container.2. The plastic tube of the product is not attached to the spout. It fell off a few times while filling up. I used clamps to attach.3. The feed/no-flow mechanism is too loose and cannot be locked in one position. As a result, when trying to insert it into the filler hole, the hose prematurely blocked or opened the flowing liquid. The hose is too flexible, meaning if you don't have a direct shot at the feed hole, it will bend and compress the feed. I appreciate the product being inexpensive and if I could be gravity fed and it would fit in the larger opening of typical gallon containers I would be fine but any design flaws mean I wouldn't use it again and wouldn't recommend it to others.
