You get what you pay for.

I purchased this item to add transmission fluid to my Polaris General. It doesn't fit the AGL fluid bottle very well, it leaks and the hose falls off and I had to buy a hose clamp to hold the hose! It was. In short, Polaris owners beware. (If you want to pay a little more buy a slippery Pete, you need to drain the AGL fluid into a liter bottle as Pete only has a standard cap.

It doesn't work as well as you think

This product was recommended for my RV oil change due to the oil fill in the engine being high and not much room to tip the oil bottle up. The idea behind this was sound, but in practice the oil tends to back up and stop flowing through the pipe unless you can actually dump it up. You can spice it up a bit when the bottle is full by squeezing the bottle, but ultimately it's another part of the oil changer that's not really useful.

The Best "Car Funnel "

I've had several of these over the last 25 years and without a doubt these are the LOST ones. Messy, best, variety of bottles, liquid funnels. will you ever use! They fit 1 gallon and 1 quart bottles, the yellow intertwine with the black so they fully overlap (completely sealed) and are airtight (so you can seal the end of the tube when you're done) . THEY ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR FUEL TANKS, only for 1 gallon (e.g. antifreeze jugs) and 1 quart (e.g. motor oil) jugs. But if you work with cars or…

Works better than I thought it would

I saw that it has a nice long clear plastic tube to make it easier to fill my mower with oil and a threaded connector to attach to the oil can. But what I didn't realize is that it has a variable flow device that allows me to control the flow of oil into my car. I figured I would have to lift the oil container up to pour and down to slow the flow. NOT with this device, you just stick the end into the oil filler neck and gently turn the "flow adjuster" and you can easily change the flow rate…

I should have known I did NOT trust the $3 part.

I used this to add gear lube to a 2012 Tiguan with Haldex 4Motion. I removed the white plastic piece that attaches to regular sized bottles since my transmission oil bottle neck was larger. But after 2 turns it fell out. I kept trying. I ended up gluing this Hopkins FloTool onto the bottle to keep it from sliding off. I was using a special VW high performance oil that you can't find at any local store, so the Hopkins FloTool jumped out of the bottle and spilled half the bottle. Now I can't…

Not for diff fluid

Having been recommended this funnel to replace diff fluid I can say that it is not suitable for the purpose. The problem with changing rear diff fluid is that there is usually no room above the diff to attach a funnel or add the fluid. The only way this funnel works is by squeezing the bottle, which only releases about half the liquid. That was a huge problem. As much as we don't like the pump's style for being slow, it still beats this funnel for that purpose. On the positive side, this funnel

Get ready to get very dirty and disappointed

I bought this item to fill the gearbox, differential and transfer case under the car. There are a number of issues: 1. It is not suitable for gallon containers which are most commonly used for oil based liquids. I had to find a narrow-necked liter container and pour oil into this container.2. The plastic tube of the product is not attached to the spout. It fell off a few times while filling up. I used clamps to attach.3. The feed/no-flow mechanism is too loose and cannot be locked in one…

Great Product - Garage & Shop

I've been using this to fill DEF on the latest GMC truck for about two years. Because General Motors decided to put the filler hole in the most inconvenient and difficult spot for DEF servicing, and after spilling that corrosive liquid every time I tried to fill, I finally found a near perfect solution with this filler tube . The 2.5 gallon DEF that you can get at many places has a very thin spout and was very difficult to start and pour into the refill port. This filler neck is durable and has

Great for water - questionable for volatile liquids

I bought a pair of these to work with stored bikes but in the meantime I've had to replace the toilet. Works great for draining almost all of the water from the tank and bowl, with one caveat. When you stop the pump, about half a cup of liquid will flow out of the inlet. I didn't expect it the first time and the liquid ran all over my shoes. If it was a gas or some other volatile liquid it would be a big mess. A minor complaint is that the intake pipe is a hard - inflexible - piece of plastic…
