Review on πŸ”§ FIRSTINFO A1135NUS US. DE. Patent 10L ATF Dispenser Kit with 14 OE Style Transmission Adapters by Terry Brendemuehl

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Overall I think this is a good buy. He did a job that I should have done very well.

I bought this tool to drain and fill a Porsche Panamera PDK gearbox which will save me a lot of money. It comes with plenty of adapters and hoses to get the job done. The adapters are metal, which is a big plus. Oils and other liquids seem to be able to flow in or out at a decent rate. Not too fast or too slow. It also appears to be well built with quality materials. One problem is that the lid is intentionally and unnecessarily screwed and twisted so tightly that it cannot be removed by hand. The problem is, if you use it to extract dirty oil, you have to clean and dry the inside before returning with clean, fresh oil. This is very difficult when you can't even remove the lid. Because it's much easier to clean and dry if you can take off the cap. I had to use a clamp to remove the cover. The thing works great with the lid closed by hand. I don't understand why on earth it's impossible to unscrew the cap by hand. The next problem is that I tested it with air pressure when it arrived. It doesn't hold air pressure for more than a few seconds. I thought it was defective. But after trying it in the field, it worked fine. I think he really shouldn't be holding the pressure. It just seems to build up the pressure and keep escaping while the trigger is locked with black grip. This means your air compressor is constantly forcing air through to keep the bottle pressurized. The next question is the statement that it can hold 10 liters. I think it's closer to 9.5 liters. The bottle has a line for each liter. I tested it by filling it with 10 liter bottles of room temperature oil and it could only hold 9.5 liters filled to the brim. I think they just call it 10 liters rounded up to 10. I think it's ok if you just want a 9.5 liter oil dispenser. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I wish they made it out of clear acrylic or clear plastic, but overall I'm very happy with it. I don't know its durability or reliability because I've only used it once and probably won't use it more than 1 or 2 times a year. The warranty will probably be long overdue by the time I use it again, but as of today I highly recommend it unless you're struggling with the issues I mentioned.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
