Well built except. for boating and sailing
This is a great shifter. The mechanism is solid and there is a notch on the handle so it turns easily. However, one of the contacts came loose during installation. They are threaded so that when you tighten the nut securing the cables, the threaded rod comes loose from the device. It was quite frustrating, but I managed to re-tighten the terminal with channel locks and protect the threads with a washcloth. Sounds weird but it works and I hope I never have to do it again.
