Review on ComXim Professional Photography Turntable Adjustable by Christina Brown

Revainrating 4 out of 5

One of the smoothest turntables I've ever used

I have used the ComXim 7.8" turntable for many years with mixed results. It was a little small and not perfectly smooth. ComXim solved these two problems with this player. Imagine how much bigger this turntable is compared to my old 7.8 inch turntable. It's also one of the smoothest players I've ever used. I have included motion video. The first half of the video is the slowest and the second half is the fastest. No matter what speed you set it to, it's perfectly smooth. I was beyond impressed. My old 7.8" turntable came with a remote control which to be honest was very confusing to use. This turntable does not have a remote control which is actually a big plus for me. There are only 2 simple controls. One button that serves as the power button and direction of the platter, and then just a dial to speed up or slow down the platter, then go back and turn it on, the platter didn't move, it just made this slight grinding noise, this happened about 1 time out of 3. I've avoided this by making sure it runs at its lowest speed when I turn it off It's a bit of a concern, but I may not have noticed any side effects. If I do, I will I will definitely come back and update this review. I would happily recommend this player. It moves incredibly smoothly and is big enough for almost anyone who wants to take a photo or video.
