Like any DIY enthusiast I had all the original master kits, swivel adapters, extensions and all that. Becoming a professional mechanic I was promoted to tool making and years later as a home mechanic and homeowner I regret not having them in my box all the time. Bang for the buck they are awesome. They are very versatile, the quick-release mechanism and the fine-toothed gearing are a real luxury. They are much stronger than I expected. Not to say you can skip the bar from time to time, but for everything else I say do. I actually gave the set to my brother as an upgrade gift and told him to just throw out the K-Mart crafting junk.
