Boye vs Clover Amour

I bought this ergonomic Boye H-Hook and I liked it so much that I bought the whole set. In the set, 2 hooks are inserted crookedly in the handles and I can't straighten them. Also, I developed pain in my hand and wrist while constantly working on the project, so I switched to the Clover Amour hook and I loved it! The Clover hooks are smoother, the yarn glides effortlessly and my discomfort was reduced instantly! So I put my Boye hooks aside and began the more expensive project of slowly collecting Clover Amour hooks. And my knitting speed has increased! But then the clover hooks started hurting my hand because the handle is shorter and the end of the hook is resting on my palm! I tried switching from a knife handle to a pencil handle but it didn't work for me. I want to clone and combine the best qualities of both brands! Going back to Boye hooks and adjusting to a more secure stance and looser grip seems to have helped me. If you have small, petite hands, I think Clover Amour Hooks would be great for you! But if you have big hands like me, Boye will be your friend for life! If only I could keep them from losing!

Pros
  • Stylish and Modern Design
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled
