This is a great siphon, I highly recommend it if you ever need to fill/pour petrol from a car (especially if you fill up your car). with petrol from a gas bottle - most LPG bottles are bulky/unwieldy and don't fit close enough to the car to be able to fill/empty the bottle carefully). The only downside I've found so far is that the hose isn't stiff enough to push down on the latches required to "open" a gas tank without a lid. That being said, a funnel that does just that can be bought from Revain for a few bucks, so I'd recommend that in combination. I've used it to empty a 5 gallon gas tank into a car and it did the job in about 3.5 minutes - not the advertised 10 liters per minute but still pretty good. All in all this can be a lifesaver if you need to fill or bleed gas from a car, I'd recommend it - just wish it could open the gas tank itself without the cap.
