Looks ok if you want to pump gas on an old car. The hose diameter is too large for later vehicles with metal filler flaps and especially for vehicles with filler necks without caps. With a filler neck without a cap, you need a special funnel to fill in gasoline. This siphon hose is too big to run through a funnel. I do not recommend using this item to drain gasoline on new vehicles.

They're just covered in flimsy plastic and snap into the case leaving you with a square tab to tighten. When you take it out of the bag, notice (unlike me) that there are little arrows on the bulb to point you in the direction your liquid should flow. If you turn it back it will not leak. You wouldn't know this as there are no instructions. Once you have everything set up everything will work pretty well. Of course, it's better than paying $1 a gallon more at the marina.

The unit came in a plain plastic bag with no instructions but very easy to assemble. In addition, it comes with all accessories, including a control valve. This is a great siphon, I highly recommend it if you ever need to fill/pour petrol from a car (especially if you fill up your car). with petrol from a gas bottle - most LPG bottles are bulky/unwieldy and don't fit close enough to the car to be able to fill/empty the bottle carefully). The only downside I've found so far is that the hose isn't stiff enough to push down on the latches required to "open" a gas tank without a lid. This is a large high capacity siphon with a long (10ft) high volume hose that allows for quick and easy priming.
