Similar to J-Tech but cheaper. 5 stars for the widely advertised performance. 5 stars for the included ultra-thin Toslink cable. 5 stars for unexpected delivery within 1 day, no less than a national holiday! 2 stars for too bright red LEDs. 1 star for cheap Toslink connectors. The Toslink connectors feel flimsy at first but work well except I experienced signal loss when using my stiff and bulky "audiophile" cable. It wanted to plug into the outlet at an angle, so I replaced it with a cheap cord and no more problems. I've just ordered some ultra-thin cables like the one that comes with them. One of the input jacks is broken because instead of holding the cable straight, it allows it to move, causing signal loss. Yes, the cable connector is plugged into the socket, but the inside of the socket is loose or broken. I don't think the problem was with the "audiophile" cable. I find cable sockets break too easily, but I don't know what happened first: the socket is already broken or my cable broke the socket. In any case, the sockets are too weak.
