Review on πŸ”Œ Complete 38 Modules Sensor Kit for Raspberry Pi - KINCREA KUMAN K5: Ideal for RPi 3, 2 Model B B+ A A+! by Tony Hanson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The easiest RF module I've ever used!

Speaking of plug and play! I think this is the easiest HF kit I have ever installed in my hobby electronics. I followed a tutorial code for the master/slave sketches and it worked. The master code sends two integer values and then increments them. The slave listens to the RF signal and displays the value on the serial monitor. The photos accompanying my review are as follows: 1. A photo of the Revain site with two terminals (connected to a "screen" in Linux) to show the serial output of my masters and slaves. You can easily see the numbers sent by the master and display the values on the slave's serial output.2. Master - blue board, slave - orange. Equally connected to two SparkFun.3 STEMtera/Arduino Uno development boards. Wiring at the RF unit, side 1. Pin 1 (black) goes to ground. Pin 3 (blue) is connected to digital pin 9. Pin 5 (yellow) is connected to digital pin 13. Pin 7 (brown) is connected to pin 12.4. Wiring at the RF unit, page 2. Pin 2 (red) is connected to 3.3V (NOT 5V!). Pin 4 (green) connects to digital pin 10. Pin 6 (purple) connects to digital pin 11. Photos 5 and 6 show the pin connections of the STEMTera board. I also highly recommend these boards from SparkFun, they have Lego compatible bases for amazing builds!
