For my slider I bought a cheaper Z-mount from a known low-cost company. I wanted to be able to tilt the camera to any position on the slider, but always be level. That original Z bracket was just awful. However, THAT was fantastic. The processing quality is different day and night. For me, this mount has 2 outstanding features. First, you have a pan adjustment that isn't available on many similar mounts. Second, corner blocking levers. The old one I had only had bolts that had to be hand tightened with an allen wrench. These levers are more than strong enough to fully secure the mount.
