Update: I don't know why all the reviews about this device are so good. Maybe people don't come back and revise over time. Initially I was very impressed with the parameters of this device and it worked fine for a while. However, after a year everything got worse. When I got it back it worked fine for a couple of months and then the same problems. Video and USB ports keep failing and sometimes you can't fix them. The only thing you can do is bypass it. To make matters worse, I ordered a new one so I can have it if I need to return this one. Guess what? The new one I just got is worse than the old one. I've completely lost faith and will never buy a StarTech product again. I've upped this to 2 stars instead of 1 because they keep replacing it. However after a track record of 3 failures I'm pretty sure it's only a matter of time before it breaks again so I've switched to another supplier and it's working great.
