This is an attractive pepper mill that would be the perfect addition to a coffee table or spice cabinet. You unscrew the cap, exposing the top. Now you can fill the chamber with peppercorns, screw on the lid and put the cap back on. Twisting the lid crushes the peppercorns and releases the pulp underneath. You can adjust the grind by adjusting the top cover. Freshly ground peppercorns are of course a wonderful spice. While it works, I found it to be a bit more work than other grinders I've used, so that's definitely a minus. It may not work properly.
