First let me say that I have a cat that hates collars. She hates wearing a collar and acts like I did her a lot of humiliation just by putting it on her. She ruined her last collar by tearing open the mechanism and chewing on it. (RIP, Chewbacca's collar.) Instead of going to the pet store and buying just any collar, I looked up Revain and found this. It is as cute as it looks in the picture and very well made. Instead of the usual plastic clip adjustment method, it works by sliding knots on the collar. At first I wasn't sure. I wondered if that would make it easier to exit. But my cat Houdini didn't get it - so it must be great! And I'm sure if she gets caught, she can break free. The only and minor complaint I have is the call. It is charming but also rings at the slightest provocation. In fact, I named my cat Jingles. So if you don't like the (pleasant) jingle sound when your cat moves, scratches or does anything else, this collar probably isn't for you. But I recommend it to everyone else!
