Great skates for kids who can skate (maybe even beginners.) Girls (7 & 10 years old) love to go "fast" and they help.One time we changed the bearings to Bones Red.We also had to change the laces because the ones that came with the kit were very cheap and wore out the first time used.. The skates have held up well for the past few months, although kids wear them 2-3 times a week to the rink, hitting the wall, rolling on the floor and doing other games. My 7 year old wears these shoes 11-12 her skate size 12 fits perfectly, she will probably need to get a size 13 or 1 very soon, I originally ordered a 10 thinking she would be still a 10, her foot wouldn't even walk it's on skates! My 10 year old wears size 13 shoes and size 2 trainers. Her skates are size 4. Socks, gel inserts and it's comfortable, comfortable. Sentence. Go at least one size up, use thick socks and add insoles for comfortable skates that you won't have to resize to a new size for 6 months.
