Review on MICHELIN Primacy 4 225/60 R17 99V summer by Wiktor ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Practical product, nothing to complain about.

BMW f10 vehicle. Tires that were acquired about a couple of months ago. Before I started using Primacy 4, I was riding with ContiSportContact 5 and an early version of the Nokian Hakka Black. (If anyone is interested, the ride on the conti is far nicer, whereas the ride on the hakka is more oaky, noisier, and more bumpy, in addition to being 1.5 kg heavier per wheel! However, the conti suffers from two hernias. At first, he displayed a great deal of anger. After a while, the steering wheel grew light and empty, the tires got light, and after installing them, it appeared that even too much: When traveling over rougher terrain, there is a sensation of "ballooning" that is accompanied by a sound that is so tinny that it causes one to question the vehicle's durability. On the other hand, only time will tell. This was the very first negative aspect. Second, the steering wheel has lost its crispness, which is especially noticeable when making quick maneuvers at high speeds. Within a few degrees of zero, an extreme lack of weight. Therefore, the tire will not unambiguously fit riders that prefer to ride in a more aggressive fashion. However, there is another side to the story, and that is the fact that it is now much simpler to spin the steering wheel at parking speeds. Now for the positives: There was a more evident excessive rear-wheel drive handling, and entering city curves became a more pleasurable experience overall. (In comparison to the tires that came before it) I prefer this one. Moreover, COMFORT should be considered. That is precisely why they purchase these tires. They have a smooth and comfortable ride, the bumps have been smoothed down to a greater level, and the tram rails do not cause as much of a strain on the heart. The normal pace at which drivers go on city streets with poor conditions has increased. It is yet a matter of hope that they will be able to survive such a routine without developing hernias. Another drawback is that the tires are silent when driving on smooth asphalt; nevertheless, the more pronounced the contrast is when it contacts a rough surface from a significant fraction, the more noise they generate and the more tremor they convey compared to, for instance, conti sportcontact 5. It would be preferable if everything were closer to the norm. The lack of steering precision and ballooning are the other two things that make this a minus, along with this one. I really hope that the drawbacks will be compensated for by incredible durability! Should I make the purchase once more? No, I'm going to look into Premium contact number 6 or 7 instead)))

Pros
  • Comfort
Cons
  • Sharpness was lost in the steering
