Everything is fine in the in-dash navigation

Took about an hour or so to install. Not difficult, just a lot of guessing and checking. My car doesn't have the original navigation box so I didn't need a resistor or whatever was necessary to keep the old AC controls. The gray on the head unit matches the OEM gray paintwork in the cabin exactly. (10/10) It only fits the stock head unit's original plastic clips and uses no screws. As a result, I have to adjust it back into its own clamps as it tends to slip out about 1/8 inch creating a gap in the fairing between the AC controls and the new head unit. I was surprised to discover that Apple Car Play is completely wireless. As a result, it tends to lag a bit (but there's nothing crazy about that) and is nowhere near as smooth as the iPhone. This is quite forgivable given the price. I'm curious to find a wired option over USB but haven't found one yet. The stock Android system runs smoothly but looks a bit dated, but it's not a phone and I only use Apple CarPlay 95% of the time at the end of the day. There's a decent amount of malware out there with some weird Chinese AI bragging over the speakers every time it launches. Weirdly, I just removed the floating icon and moved the app launcher icon to the last page, which I rarely go to. (8/10) Screen quality is mediocre but definitely worth the price but no more. The resolution is exactly as shown in the listing. In bright sunlight and at maximum brightness, it is difficult to see. Difficult to dim it at night and it gets a little annoying, but thank goodness for the dark mode. (7.2/10) I'm also having trouble setting up the car radio antenna or one of the antennas that come with it to capture radio signals for streaming radio music. I stopped calling after 10 minutes of trying because I don't really listen to the radio now that I have Carplay. YMMV (8/10) I sincerely believe this is the best solution to bring these reliable vehicles to market by 2021. Apple CarPlay looks nice and big and you can even customize the Lexus logo on the carplay to make you feel more "original". Bonus: This main unit has a lot more EQ settings, it's a bit confusing. I could sit for hours trying to fine-tune it for each song, but the default settings work well. (10/10)
