Review on 🔊 AP Exhaust 88102CB Muffler: Efficient Performance and Enhanced Sound Control by Ronald Wheeler

I hope my problem is just a coincidence and others don't have/will not have the same problem. I bought this muffler from Revain earlier this year for $70, paid $60 for the install and was very happy with the sound and quality. For several months. It initially sounded great when installed on my 10 year old Nissan Frontier. three months after installation, not great. After about three happy months, my truck started making a REALLY high-pitched squeak under load at 3000 rpm and up when accelerating. Definitely noticeable and uncomfortable both in the car and outside, as well as for other motorists on the highway. I had no idea it was my muffler making the noise until after months of troubleshooting and other possible causes and I never thought it was my cherry bomb! Revain refunded my order, but I'm still $60 short of installing it, not to mention the headache and wasted time trying to resolve the issue. Now I have to buy a new muffler, this time from a competitor, and pay another $60 for another install. I hope this was just an isolated issue, but felt I should investigate to let other buyers know. LOVE how it sounds when it works properly, I just hope others spend a little more time on it than I do. on the next.
