Well, it does the job. The design is questionable. I doubt it will last very long. U-bolts are of very poor quality. Plastic coated nuts for attaching U-bolts are made from very cheap plastic. I used the rail mount option but bought metal wing nuts because I just didn't trust the plastic nuts to hold the brackets. The entire construction, with the exception of the base plate, is made of very cheap plastic. I wouldn't settle for items with such cheap plastic. The sun would bake and split it very easily. Installation was very easy aside from buying better nuts.
