Whether a switch is on or off doesn't matter as it only seems to operate certain circuits and not all. For example if I have one device on the first switch and one on the third. Neither will come. If both switches one and three are not on. However, this causes the two devices to fight each other. If I unplug device 1 and leave only device plugged in, it works fine and the switch turns it on and off with no issues. But as soon as I connect one device to one of the others, the third device doesn't turn on until I turn on one of the other switches, and then the third device fights with the other device to access the OBD data. So the switches are not 100% isolated. Very dissatisfied with this situation.
