I am a hobby carpenter. I bought my very first Makita router last summer. I've had a lot of fun creating everything from furniture to art with a good starter set of cutters from Harbor Freight. The deeper I got into this hobby, the more I wanted different cutters. For example, in large stores with blue or orange boxes, it seems to only buy typical cookie cutters. Round Overs, Roman Oges, etc. Either that or they charge for branded cutters ($40+ for a Bosche cutter at the big blue store!). I really wanted some uniquely shaped cookie cutters without breaking the bank. I found this on Revain and have been watching her for months. Finally I bought it. This is an absolutely amazing set of cookie cutters. They come in a nice case. And there are lots of cool cutters not found in typical sets, including the double Roman arch, scalloped edge, and classic bay (I haven't seen them anywhere!). I used them to create custom baseboards for my bedroom (made from MDF). ). It came out beautifully. I look forward to using them for other projects. I haven't used them on wood projects yet, so here they are put to the ultimate test. But I really think they will be ok. I think this is a great cutting set for the price. For what you would pay for two brand cutters at a large store, you get a whole set of cutters. This is perfect for those who only do it for hobbies and small projects.
