Well built but can be annoying

This product isn't bad, but it's not perfect and here's why. The figure holes are 2 over 1, and if only a few blocks fall in, they will stop any attempt to insert a bottom block into one of those bottom figures unless you shake it to move them. Of course, this doesn't work if your child doesn't know how to solve the problem because he hasn't learned how to solve problems at his age. The second problem, the corners should be rounder and less angular. My husband was sitting in a low chair and my 1.5 year old decided to pick it up and turn it upside down. She ended up dropping the corner hard right on his head. It hurt so bad he trembled afterwards. That being said, if you can trust your kid not to hit or throw anyone (it's all hardwood), then grab them. You can really benefit from it. But I think round ones are better.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
