Review on πŸ–€ Exquisite Carrs 102551 Hoop Black Powder: Supreme Quality and Elegance by Shawn Pollock

Revainrating 5 out of 5

five more, who would have thought.

Today, for the second time, I shamelessly rate the product five stars. Why! Well this time I got the unit cheap with good instructions (make sure to note the comment on your wiring harness), I have a 2000 Jeep SE and it only fits in one spot, forget the note on adjusting the seating position.if you have a 2000 Wrangler have SE. But it fit perfectly, as if MOPAR wanted it. The hardware was of very good quality, nothing frayed, and I like to tighten things up. Write a note add sealant to jeep penetrations. Incidentally, this is not intended to protect against water, but to prevent electrolysis of nickel-plated screws and your steel housing. A bad thing if you want to prevent your Jeep from rusting around the gear. I used an unknown brand of silicone but made sure the screws are covered and the penetrating areas go through the case. Too much can be messy, but too little is worse than not wearing it. Just clean up the mess and move on. Note my jeep body where it should be, the self tapping screw is a real pain to install due to the extra body ribs welded under the seat. Take your time and use the biggest drill you can, and still don't rip it off. I have a set of numbered drill bits and worked my way up until I could get the screws to tap through the hardened layers of metal. I forgot to mention the size, sorry, just take your time, don't take big steps in the fight. If you don't panic, your local hardware store sells plenty of screws that you can use. I'm definitely a shade tree mechanic who learned the hard way that there's no such thing as wasting time: cheap fixes are bloody expensive. Just ask at my local workshop.
