I need this so I can connect my DirecTV and PS4 to the same ethernet line. I read the fine print and realized I could only use one device at a time. How could or why should I use both devices at the same time? Well, this splitter still doesn't work. My PS4 cannot connect to the internet. I turn off my PS4 and try DirecTV on demand. No internet signal. I remove the splitter and connect the cable directly to any device and no problem. This item was completely useless to me.
