Review on Quik Grip Light Truck CAM LSH Tire Traction Chain Set - Security Chain Company QG2228CAM by Pete Norris

I am happy with this purchase. The chains fit well (QG2228CAM), fits my All Terrain LT275/65/18 tires. I've never had cam chains and they worked well for checking fit and going fast. After riding a bit I loosened 4 cams and then tightened the outer skid with another chain link and then re-tightened the cams. They are not electroplated and are well made in terms of chain strength etc. While not premium chains (no v-bar, need to be fitted the traditional way by driving forward etc.) they should fit most people's needs at a reasonable price . I didn't get the self-tightening type due to some feedback of them breaking, and I didn't want to risk it (I didn't want the plastic parts to serve a critical function in my chains and the plastic and moving parts {ratchet} in the cold and being beaten and soiled like chains doesn't seem like a good idea to me).
