I would give this item a 5 for how well it works, but I am having some issues with it that have downgraded my rating by one star. If you compare my two photos you will see the problems. First, the label on the uint itself is not easy to read, which is a big problem for me. Who decided that low-contrast fonts on websites, product labels, and similar fonts on devices should be nearly the same color as the background? That's really a bad idea. Too many of us have vision problems, insufficient lighting in our surroundings, and many other issues that make this completely frustrating. In addition, there should be no conflict between the packaging and the product itself, and clearly there is. The essence is a thin ceramic blade, precise grind, which you use at the end of the work. Rough or Rough is the slot where you start the process. As you can see they are mislabeled on the packaging where easy to read so VERY VERY bad. I sincerely hope they fix these issues in the future. If you want a good knife sharpener and you can get to the bottom of the problem then you can get great results. Just be sure which area to use and when.
