, I expected a little more from that. It's not that it's expensive and I expected it to work perfectly, but I expected it to last longer than it does. I have this for my front door that swings open. My toddler keeps opening the door and running out of the house so I went to great lengths to make sure he couldn't do that anymore. I mean I couldn't leave him alone in the room for a second because he immediately stormed to the door. This gave me peace of mind for about 2 weeks and then he broke it by squeezing the door hard enough to break the chain. It might not have been designed to withstand a toddler trying to force the door open, but I expected it to last a little longer than it actually does. As I said, it took 2 weeks and then I had to buy a more expensive and durable one which I had to take with me first. Don't waste your money and just choose something stronger when using it to hold your little one. I doubt it will work that well at keeping an intruder out, so just buy something better.
