Be careful! Not suitable for all listed vehicles!

Customers, please note that this part may not fit your vehicle even if it appears in the compatible vehicle list. I bought it for my 1987 Ford F-150 with a 4.9 liter engine. The truck worked with the old part but had a bad idle due to a faulty TPS sensor. So I bought this part, replaced it and yes this part is physically suitable to replace the old part but if you look at the attached photo you can see that although it looks the same from the outside the tabs are on the inside are hole are in completely different places. As a result my car was idling very high (around 1300rpm even when warm, not around 700rpm like it should) but to make matters worse it started to ping VERY badly , resulting in it receiving the wrong air/fuel. a mix, or maybe even a time shift. This could have seriously damaged the engine, but fortunately I noticed it quickly. I went to an auto parts store and bought a replacement part (three times the price of this part), installed it and now the truck runs fantastic. In this part, the tabs were in the right places. Please be careful! Many Thanks.
