So far, so good. in Throttle Position

TPS tests on my '90 F-150 were a bit out of range so I decided to try this one because the price was reasonable. It was easy to install and tested well - just under 1V at idle and about 4.0V at full load. No dead zones or other issues judging by the meter so hopefully it will last a few years.

So far so good Sensors

I installed the thing today and so far everything is working perfectly. I would give it a 5/5 but no replacement hardware was included to mount it. I had to turn it clockwise a bit to get the correct tension, keep that in mind when replacing this thing. Time will tell if this mess holds up, I hope it does.

Be careful! Not suitable for all listed vehicles!

Customers, please note that this part may not fit your vehicle even if it appears in the compatible vehicle list. I bought it for my 1987 Ford F-150 with a 4.9 liter engine. The truck worked with the old part but had a bad idle due to a faulty TPS sensor. So I bought this part, replaced it and yes this part is physically suitable to replace the old part but if you look at the attached photo you can see that although it looks the same from the outside the tabs are on the inside are hole are in…
