Finally a COLLAR THAT STAYS INTO ITSELF and shines beautifully!

I've finally found a COLLAR THAT STAYS INTO ITSELF after losing a lot of money on different collars and charms week after week (sometimes on the same day!) at our six indoor and Field services lost cats and try different brands of cat collars ranging from $2.50 to $8 that are tear off, reflective and as light weight as possible and meet my needs! I love the adjustable lock that you can adjust based on your cat's (kitten/teen/adult) weight/strength. Rogz is the only brand that has one! This collar glows even in low light, so you can't step on or sit on your cat in the dark or in bed. In addition to the very good light reflection at night, the glow is impressive during the day. I also use the loop that holds the bell to attach a name tag instead. At first I was concerned that the "white" color wouldn't contrast enough with my white cat's coat, but I found that the glow was noticeable regardless of coat color. Now I don't have to worry about them ever being lost and not recognized as our pets. They're also microchipped, but I always make sure they wear collars with name tags that show their name, our home address, and phone number. adjustable, reflective) except it does not "glow" after sun exposure, although it is HIGHLY REFLECTIVE when light reflects off it and is a great choice for added variety in color/pattern choices. I have both models in different colors, so all six cats are unique. Someone has recommended trimming the fur around the necks of long haired kittens so you can see the collar better, which is a very good idea. - Luminous: Rogz Catz Small 3/8-inch Night Cat Safeloc Breakaway Clip, adjustable, reflective cat color, black paw design (other color options available too). very adjustable, just make sure you adjust the strength of the tear-off before attaching it with a small flat head screwdriver or flat tweezers. I highly recommend these Rogz collars I love love LOVE! The money I saved on these collars allows me to purchase replacement collars (just in case), quality engraved name tags, and new treats and toys for them :-) ************ * **** * ******************************************** *** A few months later they are still the best collars on the market: GOLDFISH color: predominantly off-white band with subtle dark gray reflective border, blue bubbles of various shades of sky blue NOT teal, goldfish with black outlines; This collar will look best on Calico or Siamese/Snowshoe/Himalayan cats as long as they are brown/tan/cream, grey/white or blue/cream, however it is not limited to calico cats as it is PERFECT. on my Apollo (domestic/outdoor cat) who has a snow white coat, a stunning sapphire blue eye and a dazzling golden amber eye and an amazing personality to match! ************** ********************************** ** ************Two years later. Update late August 2013, these are still my favorite collars and I keep buying them as gifts for other "feline" friends. I also stock different colors (backups) for those rare occasions when the collar is temporarily lost around the house/yard because the cat got into rough play or got stuck in branches chasing squirrels; It's good to know that this lockdown collar can be undone if needed. Note that they sometimes revert to the lowest blocking setting and need to be reset to the highest/strongest blocking setting before re-enabling friends. These are the ONLY collars I recommend to my vet, other rescuers/carers, or anyone who asks for them. For the two older cats who are least active and now never lose their collars, I change them annually to keep them looking like new when they get dirty over time; two very active cats need replacements twice a year, and two other Houdini cats who constantly get into impossible places and are avid outdoor hunters need three replacements a year; I always keep backup copies of all 6 kittens with name tags (complete with addresses and phone numbers) so no one is ever naked before attempting to track the collar as they are indoor/outdoor cats with hunting grounds covering several blocks. ! Not only are these collars awesome, they look so cool! We get a lot of compliments and I don't hesitate to tell them to get these!
