The lights turn themselves on and change colors even without batteries in the remote control
This light worked great for about three months and then it suddenly started switching to red or blue or all colors in the middle At night the flashlight started blinking. If we were to turn it off with the remote control, we would find that it would turn itself back on after a few minutes, even if the batteries are removed from the remote control! We have lights on our dock under the rail so I don't know what other signal it's picking up or something but they proved very unreliable. Very disappointed.
