Switched to R5 after 5d mk4. Choosing between R6 and R5 - I chose R5 as it offers me more opportunities in terms of shooting, 45mp, better viewfinder. Of the features: - If you already take R5, then it is desirable with a CFexpress card. - The R5's ergonomics take some getting used to. After MK4, fingers periodically look for buttons where they no longer exist, but I liked it more than R6 - Photo / video mode is changed by pressing 2 buttons, before it was one switch (which was returned in R5C). In general, it is not critical.
- - Amazing autofocus, which gets better with each firmware. - A 45mp sensor is a plus for me, after shooting on R6, I realized that 20mp is not enough for me. - Image stabilization - Cool video features (great for shooting short videos!) - High burst speed - Old lenses have opened up in a new way and work great with this camera through an adapter - Shutter that closes the matrix during lens change - Swivel screen - High shutter life
- - Decently eats a battery (take a spare right away) the rest in the comments, I do not consider this a disadvantage, rather a feature.
