Review on Enhanced Ventilation Motor Assembly by NuTone - Model S97017705 by Robert Maysey

This is a good product if you just need a replacement NuTone bathroom fan and don't want to buy a quieter option. It's easy to install and works well. Unfortunately I am looking for a quieter fan for our half bath to replace a 30 year old 110 CFM, 4 Sones fan. I bought this because the product picture says 100CFM 3.5 Sones so it will be a little quieter. I was surprised when the label on the fan I received said 5 Sones which is louder than 4 Sones and not the product pictured. I tried and measured the acoustics with a dBmeter and it turned out to be louder than the fan I replaced. Have Revain update the image used so the next person is not fooled.
