Well I get that if I'm not a water quality engineer. They seem to be doing an excellent job measuring the Fe+2 (iron) found in our well (up to 11ppm at certain times of the year). BUT if you have an iron filter and want to test the water purification. it will not work. Oxygen is introduced into the iron filter to convert Fe+2 to Fe+3 (iron) because that is what the ion exchange medium removes from the water. So if your filter is no longer working (except for the conversion part), this test will show the lack of iron, when in fact your water has an odd taste and a slight orange tint. You need a total iron test kit to see the iron levels in the water. He will appear soon.
