Review on 🌈 Enhanced iHome iM29: Vibrant Color Changing Dual Alarm FM Clock Radio with USB Charging by Shrikant Ojo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

What a cute little clock!

The amount of clock radios on the market is overwhelming, but I had certain criteria to meet my needs; Compact size, good radio reception and the ability to turn off (or significantly reduce) the backlight. iHome makes three similar models, but this one appears to be discontinued as it can no longer be found on the iHome website. The price also seems to reflect this as it is the cheapest of the three. It doesn't have the Blue Tooth tech like the other models, but I'm sticking with the old school so I don't care. It has a USB port and an aux input, a cable is included so I can listen to my iPod and charge other devices, although I can't wake up to my own music. I found the light changing feature a little odd, but the description said the lights could be turned off. Surprisingly I love the light! I turn it off to go to sleep, but if I wake up before the alarm goes off, I like to watch the clock come to life a few minutes before the radio turns on. The ring around the face of the watch begins to glow and the color gradually intensifies, then changing from one shade to another. When the light is off the color is a pale greyish lavender, not blue as shown in the photo. The radio signal is strong and it has a good compact size. The user manual is easy to read and the alarm and radio settings are easy to adjust. I like the retro/Jetson style. For less than $30 this is a nice little watch.
