Review on 🚗 Micro USB Dash Cam Hardwire Kit with Low Voltage Protection - DC 12V - 24V to 5V/2A Max Car Charger Cable by Carrie Millemann

I bought two of these, one for each machine. I've been using dashcams for a few months and suddenly one of them stopped working. Before I jump into that, I'll go over some of the pros and cons. ADVANTAGES: - Easy installation - Quick installation (max. 10 minutes) - Saves the car battery by automatically switching off - Allows the dash cam to be switched on when the car is not running. CONS: - Micro USB cable feels flimsy - One stopped working after a few months. I checked the voltage going into the stock voltage and found 12.8 volts (GOOD) and the voltage coming out of the box was 0.98 volts (BAD). This confirms that my wiring wasn't faulty, but the voltage regulator (black box) has in fact failed. **UPDATE** I contacted the seller and he was able to replace the faulty wiring harness. Very good answer and good product.
