The remote control you will receive is NOT the one pictured and is NOT a replacement for the Optimum. The optimal remote control has a few more buttons and is a different model. The optimal remote control is listed in the description, but the one you receive is different (says for Cablevision). There may have been a relationship between Cablevision and Optimum at some point, but the remotes aren't interchangeable. Most buttons work, but the input source select button doesn't work, and of course there's nothing you can do about the missing buttons. For Cablevision users, this is probably a good replacement. My rating is based solely on the fact that the Optimum remote pictured and the model number listed is not what you get, hence 1 star.
