I don't know how long it will last, not a professional user but using it once will save you $100 on a plumbing visit. It seems well done. I've noticed that some people don't know that there are two types of pex joints. There is a clamp and there is a crimp. These are completely different systems. This is a clamp or tensioning tool. This tool fits 4 different clamp sizes. The crimp also only fits one size, although tools may come with additional adapters. I think the RCA is best for those who, like me, don't use it very often. If you are unsure about these two guys, check out YouTube for some great videos. Just remember that a crimping tool attaches a ring that is crimped in place, while a terminal is a miniature terminal that snaps into place.
