Each of my 5 cats will tell you that this is the best toy I have ever bought them. I've been my cat's husband for 7 years, including a job at a pet supply store. We have probably tried most toys on the market. One of my cats is a 2 year old Siamese with insane energy levels. He usually destroys toys in one session, but so far this has been enough for 2 or 3 intense play sessions per day (15-30 minutes each) for most of the week. We lost a few strands of mylar but it looks and works like new! The toy makes a very pleasant sound as it moves through the air. This is also the ideal weight for the Da Bird Stick. It levitates in the air and flies on the ground, making it suitable for all kinds of games. It is also difficult for the cat to really grab and hold them and appears to be quite resistant to bites. My only concern is that my cats might eat loose brushes. I walk around the house to clean up stray animals after play and hide them in the closet when not in use.
